Alloy UNS UN02200 round pipes are used in food processing along with the defense and aerospace industry. Whereas, alloy 200 hollow pipes are compatible with flowing seawater and high-velocity seawater. 200 alloy EFW pipes are usually prone to severe attacks by local organisms and are uses in the paper pulping industry.

Nickel has the property to resist corrosion even when exposed to high temperatures. Furthermore, Nickel is also a good conductor of electricity, has low vapor pressure, and low gas content. On the other hand, an alloy is a mixture of 2 metals. When nickel is mixed with other metals like copper it derives the property of nickel as well as copper, manganese, and iron. Nickel 200 pipes and alloy 200 pipes can be classified into Seamless, ERW, EFW, Welded, DOM, CDW, Fabricated, and so on.

These properties of nickel are inherited in the nickel 200 pipes. When Nickel is molded into Nickel 200 seamless pipes (UNS N02200) it possesses the quality of being corrosion resistant. But, they are still good conductors of electricity. It also possesses magnetic and mechanical properties. Nickel 200 pipes are available in various dimensions and shapes and can be cold drawn, hot drawn, bright annealed, hot extruding, and solid solution.

Specifications of nickel pipes are as follows

Nickel 200 seamless pipes: ASTM B161, B163, and ASME SB161, SB163

WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4066 Welded tubing can be molded as per required length into a square, oval, round, rectangle, hydraulic, etc. Ideally, the standard dimension of these UNS N02200 Welded Pipe and tubes are ANSI B36.19M and ANSI B36.10. The melting point of Nickel 200 pipes and tubes is 1446 °C (2635 °F) with a density of 8.9gm/cm3. It provides a tensile strength of 67000-psi, 462-MPa. It also provides a yield strength of 21500-psi, 148-MPa (o.2% offset).

Ni200 bush hex pipes can be used between a working temperature of 1200 degrees F to 2250 degrees F. A temperature of 1600 degrees F or above is maintained for hot forming followed by heavy forming of custom Nickel 200 pipes. To remove internal stress and make the metal tough ASME SB161 Nickel 200 Pipe requires a temperature between 1300 degrees F to 1600 degrees F. Annealing ASTM B161 nickel 200 Hollow Pipe requires the temperature to be monitored along with the time it is exposed to this temperature. These parameters influence the mechanical properties and structure of the ni200 bush hex pipe.
